Take your Project Management abilities, career and track record to the next level while making a difference supporting the delivery of diverse projects across Canterbury and the surrounding regions.

You will have the opportunity to both learn from our leading Principals, designers, and project specialists, as well as having scope to have your say and contribute. While being based in Beca’s Christchurch office, working at Beca will provide you with access to a truly multi discipline business where you can draw on technical experts to support delivery of significant and complex projects. You will have input into how projects are delivered, being encouraged to make suggestions, and voice your thoughts on solutions. You will be joining a passionate team of over 30 project delivery and programme advisory professionals, alongside a further 30 cost and asset advisory professionals within the Southern Region. You will be supporting the growth of the region through the delivery of iconic projects such as key infrastructure, transport and built environment projects across Canterbury and the surrounding regions with clients including Ministry of Education, NZ Defence Force, Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand, Waka Kotahi, local and regional councils, airports and others.

In this role, you will have plenty of scope for success. We are looking for Project Management professionals from a range of backgrounds and career stages, who have a ‘can do’ attitude and a bias for action. Our culture is what unites us so you will be ready to learn and develop, and share a real passion for project delivery with a focus on achieving great outcomes for our clients. You will enjoy working in teams, as well as having responsibility and ownership for delivery of your part of a project.

You will be a relationship builder, with the ability to collaborate with others on projects, particularly able to build credible relationships across designers, clients, contractors, iwi partners and community groups. You will also be passionate about learning from others, ready to listen, engage, support and positively query situations with a focus on great client outcomes. We also like to have fun along the way, so a good sense of humour will hold you in good stead.
