In this role you will lead the delivery of Transaction Banking solutions to Kiwibank’s business market customers, ensuring the alignment of strategies with the wider Customer Business objectives. You will oversee a national sales team, driving performance, fostering customer-centric solutions, and ensuring risk management compliance. This role demands a strong focus on building and nurturing key relationships, both internally and externally, collaborating with stakeholders like Treasury, Financial Markets, Risk, and Commercial leaders to meet customer needs. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll provide expert insights on transaction banking while identifying opportunities for growth and enhancing customer retention. Creating an environment where your team thrives—aligned with our Ngā Kauwaka values—will be crucial to success.

At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and develop new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following:

- 10+ years’ experience in banking, with a focus on payments, transaction banking, and/or international services.
- Proven leadership in driving high-performing teams and fostering a culture of success.
- Strong understanding of risk management and compliance within complex product sets.
- The ability to build strategic partnerships and act as a trusted advisor to customers.
- Knowledge of modern Payments, Cash Management, and Transaction Banking systems.
