**Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Senior Electrical Engineer** to take on a **team leadership role** within our Waikato/Tauranga Building Services group. You’ll be part of a network of over 400 Building Services Engineers across Asia Pacific, working with diverse clients on projects that will enhance your leadership and technical capabilities.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Provide electrical design philosophy and technical guidance across projects.
- Deliver electrical building services design from concept to completion, including construction monitoring and commissioning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop technical drawings, specifications, and reports, and perform calculations for transformers, generators, UPS systems, lighting, and cable sizing.

**Ko wai koe | About you**
You’re a qualified Electrical Engineer with:
- At least 6 years’ experience in low voltage electrical Building Services design and/or commissioning.
- A consulting background and a passion for building client relationships.
- Strong technical design and project management skills.
- A proactive, positive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
- Experience with tools such as PowerCAD, AGI32, Bluebeam, and Revit is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant NZ/Australian standards is desirable.
- Chartered status (CPEng) is preferred, or you are actively working towards chartership.
