**Your New Position**

Reporting to the Contract manager you will be providing your technical expertise while focusing on providing quality, simple and cost-effective solutions which will directly improve uptime performance and allow plant condition to be maintained and improved, whilst ensuring zero harm.

**Your duties will include but are not limited to**
- Manage and assist supervisors in running day-to-day operations.
- Liaise with supervisors, sub-contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Scope and Prepare cost estimates of HV and LV work by early involvement/site visits.
- Assist Project manager and estimator in proving design package for schedule of work.
- Action requests for support from internal clients.
- Assist with procurement of material and raise purchase orders.
- Assist with contract documentation and preparation of job packs.
- Review and update Maintenance plan as needed.
- Assist with the delivery of planned projects / upgrades.

**Your Background**
- Strong knowledge of relevant Codes of Practice, Policies, Standards, Work Procedures, Legislative requirements and the relevant Parts of the Safe Manual - Electricity Industry (SE-MI)
- Good understanding of maintenance strategy, planning and coordination
- Proven experience carrying out Pre & Post Commissioning tests
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and carrying out As-Builts on drawings.
- Relevant trade qualification(s) as required (Diploma or NZCE (or equivalent) or minimum 5 years relevant work experience in a similar environment required.
- Class 1 NZ Driver’s Licence.
- Experience with SAP or similar highly regarded.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Exceptional communication skills both oral and written.
- Personal organisational skills including time management, and the ability to handle a diverse range of tasks concurrently.
