Permanent part-time position available in Ward B8 at the new Christchurch Hospital - Waipapa. - Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in an inclusive team environment. - Working 24 hours per week - Monday to Friday 1530-1930Ward B8 is a busy, acute ward caring for patients with neurological conditions including; brain tumours, head injuries, spinal tumours, movement disorders and seizures. As the largest inpatient neuroscience facility in the South Island it is a busy medical and surgical environment caring for a complex patient group with a diverse range of neurological and neurosurgical conditions. The **Role**: Where you fit in Our clerical team provide a key role in the effective function of our ward. The work involves transaction of admissions, discharges, transfers and management of patient records. Working in the reception area you will be the first point of contact for patients, whanau, visitors and various hospital and health provider staff. To be successful in this role you will ideally be from a clerical background, be an excellent communicator and have fantastic organisational skills.
