**Who are we?**

**The role**
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a fun and dynamic team? We are seeking a Transportation Manager to join our Service Delivery team and deliver on our new and exciting contracts. After 10 years in an Alliance Partnership, we are changing the way we deliver Transportation management and need someone to establish our new way of working. With these changes comes a need for more staff so this role will be crucial in establishing the team to succeed.
**What will I do?**
- Provide sound advice based on your qualifications and experience to ensure transportation assets are managed well and delivers on levels of service committed to our customers.
- You will add value to the organization by being financially prudent and making sound decision making. This will provide effective and efficient delivery of services.
- You will lead a team of highly skilled engineers to deliver planning, asset management, delivery of operational maintenance and outstanding customer service.
**What will I bring?**
- Minimum 10 years' technical experience within Local Government or directly related occupation.
- At least 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Management fields.
- Experience of network management, roading and traffic/transportation systems and standards
- Proficiency in NZTA policies, processes and systems
- Passion for and experience in people leadership

**Additional Information**

Hours of Work: Full time, permanent, 40 Hours per week.
Our head office in Ngaaruawaahia is an open plan space that inspires connection with hot desking, no one has a permanent desk.
