Sales Consultant

**The role | Te tūranga**

Based at our Wairau store, your primary focus will be to provide outstanding customer service, deliver excellent results and build lasting relationships with our customers to help them create a home they love. Some of your key responsibilities will be to
- Provide exceptional customer service, with a focus on exceeding sales goals and KPI’s set by the Store Manager
- Maintain a clean, well merchandised store and follow up on quotations and any sales opportunities

**About you | Ō pūmanawa**

As with any retail store, there is the requirement to work on weekends and public holidays with our trading hours being 9:30AM to 5:30PM, so there is no late-night work ever

It would be advantageous if you have previous customer service experience with a background in furniture but it’s not a deal breaker as we have a structured training programme to bring you up to speed Ideally you are fit as there may be some lifting required as part of this role but more importantly, you are
- A team player and you're known for your sound honesty, integrity, and open communication
- Results driven and passionate about making a difference with your customers, you'll be known for your outstanding customer focus, relationship building skills and ability to deliver results
- Strong work ethic, you're committed to adding value to your role and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

**Salary**: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
