The role

We are seeking an exceptional Sales & Design Consultant to join our thriving Nordzco-Hostess Group' team in Hamilton North Waikato. As a Sales & Design Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving sales of our premium kitchen and joinery products, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

What you'll be doing

  1. Engaging with customers to understand their needs and requirements, proposing tailored solutions
  2. Demonstrating our product range and features to customers, highlighting the benefits and value proposition
  3. Preparing detailed quotes and proposals, and guiding customers through the sales consultation process
  4. Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and proactively pursuing new business opportunities
  5. Collaborating with the CAD and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  6. Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets
  7. Have a good understating of current material available in the market
  8. Contributing to the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record in sales, preferably within the kitchen, joinery or home improvement industry
  2. A good understanding of how to read architectural plans and details
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
  4. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to overcome objections and close sales
  5. Passion for design and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to translate customer requirements into tailored solutions
  6. Proven ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines under pressure.
  7. Proficient in using sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  8. Enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven to succeed
  9. A good understanding of Microsoft 365 suite of programs including Excel, Word
  10. Strong organisational and communication skills
  11. A problem-solving mindset and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment
  12. A friendly and outgoing personality, a desire to learn and contribute as part of a team
