The opportunity:
As our Portfolio Analyst, you will play an important part in ensuring effective projects governance and providing insightful reporting to support decision-making. Working closely with stakeholders throughout the organisation, you'll be a vital member of a small, close-knit team dedicated to achieving our strategic plan.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the Portfolio Manager in project governance, maintaining portfolio reports and dashboards, and identifying and communicating new initiatives to bring further benefits to the business. You'll also play a critical role in contributing to commercially astute recommendations and advocating for the importance of each project in achieving our broader purpose of making a difference in people's lives.

Other key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the Portfolio Manager with execution of the project governance, reporting and review framework to provide a holistic view of all organisational project activity- Supporting the Portfolio Manager with creation, development and maintenance of portfolio reports and dashboards.- Analysing reporting to gain insights into projects to manage delivery and financial risk- Developing a reporting cadence and calendar to ensure the right reports are being distributed to the right people at the right time- Supporting portfolio decision making and contributing to commercially astute recommendations- Identifying and communicating initiatives to bring further benefits to the business in collaboration with the strategy team- Being an active advocate to help people understand how each project and program helps achieve our AIA strategic plan and our broader purpose to make a difference in people’s lives.

Ideally, You'll Bring:
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have excellent stakeholder management skills and a positive, self-motivated attitude. You'll also need to be able to manage timelines, identify and resolve problems in a pragmatic way, and have a keen eye for detail. Experience in both project governance and accounting is ideal, but if you have experience in one of these areas and the curiosity to learn more, we encourage you to apply.
