What will your day look like

As Senior Portfolio Analyst, you would have the opportunity to:
Act as a key point of contact between nominated business units, Group Modelling, Monitoring & Insights and Group Validation for various model types
Maintain engagement with businesses, forums and working groups as required to keep relevant stakeholders informed about the performance of models, usage of models, compliance to regulatory standards, impact of upcoming changes and progress of models/infrastructure development/regulatory projects
Explore advanced modelling techniques and evaluate usage of various techniques for adoption in collaboration with other business areas
Ensure all models delivered comply with ANZ Group governance requirements, policies, processes and standards and with legal and regulatory requirements
Demonstrate the ANZ values and contribute to a customer-centric culture, fostering collaboration across teams and business units

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Advanced understanding of credit scoring, capital models and portfolio management techniques, IFRS9 standards and associated modelling methodology
Proven experience using analytical software such as SAS, R or SPSS is required
Experience or understanding of model usage is advantageous
Banking and project management experience is advantageous
Well-developed written, oral and presentation skills
Strong analytical, numerical, research and problem solving skills
Proven ability to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships
