**About the role**:
We are actively seeking a talented Design and Usability Designer to join our Experience Design practice for our growing Lending business.

In this role you will have the opportunity to tackle critical experience improvements such as how servicing managers set up & manage leases and loans, how servicing operators can more efficiently monitor and service those, and how do customer admins set-up and onboard the product for customers. As the voice for our customers you will be responsible for:

- Creating considered, useable designs with a focus on making complex financial transactions easier to understand
- Interacting with different functions across the group including BAs, Developers and Product Managers to create the best result for the user
- Collaborating with the broader design community to shape common UX standards
- Working within the SAFe methodology (Scaled Agile Framework) in a fast-paced, iterative and experience design focused environment
- Building successful relationships with clients and colleagues around the globe to deliver on experience improvements and business objectives

**What you will Need**:

- To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- You live UX methodologies: User Journeys, Storyboarding, UX Strategy and UX Discovery.
- Represent the voice for and experience of the humans that use our software every day.
- Ability to explore complex, ambiguous problem spaces, working with your cross-functional team to understand the opportunity, and influence the path forward.
- Experience working in agile teams.
- Able to communicate with developers to reach the best result for the user.
- A highly productive understanding of Figma, Creative Cloud, Miro and Balsamiq.
- Strong creative problem-solving skills.
- Have clear and concise Communication skills (written and verbal) for this role and be comfortable liaising with key team members.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Web Development, Graphic Design, Interface Design, Ergonomics or related field

**Added Bonus If you Have**:

- Experience within the banking or finance sector.
- Understanding of front-end coding limitations and best practices.
- Interest or experience as a participant leveraging the Design Thinking framework.
