**The Opportunity**
As Reliability Engineer, this is an opportunity for you to look at the full picture.
Increased reliability will help minimise the risk of the business achieving its strategic objectives in asset capability, quality, production and environmental health and safety.
You will work closely with operations, understanding production losses or high maintenance costs developing reliability and maintenance plans focussing on business priority and opportunity.
You will improve systems and processes required to deliver the information to enable the engineering teams to drive effective Reliability Centred Maintenance.
You will consider Total Cost of Ownership and Life Cycle cost of assets, determining how to have input into the design and installation of future plant or modification of existing equipment to minimise these.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will play a leadership role, helping to progress the culture of Continuous Improvement, to eliminate or control the root causes of reliability.

**Key Responsibilities**
To be successful in this role you will:
- Analyse, understand, interpret and communicate information and data on plant downtime.
- Work with operations and maintenance to problem solve to drive improved efficiency (possible tools - DMAIC, Pareto, RCAs, 5Why ) and to improve the mean time between failures.
- Liaise with site vibration monitoring suppliers. Ensure VA information is reviewed, distributed, and acted on where required.
- Review Breakdowns and liaise findings with the maintenance team and operations.
- Lead/ coordinate development of maintenance strategies for new assets (RCM/ MDT Tools).
- Utilise the CMMS system to capture work to be planned and scheduled.
- Manage Notification Process to ensure high quality of MEX data.
- Manage site reliability process.
- Support improvement projects - identify opportunities - develop/ design solutions - lead/ manage/ support implementation.
**Skills & Experience**
We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer or someone with experience in site engineering and knowledge of maintenance systems who is looking for a role that will enable them to have a real impact on plant reliability within a business that is serious about maximising a sustainable future.
You will need:
- A relevant technical or engineering tertiary qualification (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) or trade qualification and previous reliability experience.
- Confidence in your communication and influencing ability.
- Ability to problem solve and to employ the relevant tools that drive the right reliability outcomes.
- Previous food industry experience is highly advantageous but not essential.
