**We are looking for Clinical Educators to work at one of New Zealand’s largest private surgical facilities**

**The Role**: Clinical Educators**-** in-situ clinical simulations

In collaboration with other Clinical Educators, and our Clinical Specialists, you will facilitate in-situ clinical simulations. This includes developing simulation content, facilitating sessions and debriefs and measuring outcomes to improve future training.

You will also be involved in the development of education plans, Core competency training, the PDRP programme (for both RNs and Anaesthetic Techs), and our graduate and new to practice programmes.

**FTE Available**: This role is for 0.9 FTE - 36 hours per week, across Monday to Friday, and whilst you will usually work 0730 -1600 there is the requirement to alter these hours to meet business needs from time to time e.g. weekend work when there are training courses running.

**Essential-**
- You must be a Registered Nurse with valid NZ Nursing registration or eligible to apply
- You must have a clinical post-graduate or adult education qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in delivering adult educational sessions to individuals and groups (and hopefully you have an interest and current experience in clinical Simulation).
- Previous experience as a Clinical Educator in a surgical environment
- You must have clinical credibility evidenced by recent experience as a senior nurse (RN5) or anaesthetic technician in a surgical or ICU environment.
- Hold Core Instructor status, or be willing to gain it
