As Clinical Educator you will be responsible for delivering leading edge clinical education to our Wellington Free Ambulance (WFA) staff, ensuring that they meet all the requirements of the ambulance service and can continue to provide leading edge patient care and be a great place to work

**You will also be responsible for**:
Delivering clinical education training encompassing online, face to face or blended to our front-line staff
Delivery of training to both internal and external sources
Developing and implementing training materials and course resources
Developing and delivering bridging training programmes for new front line staff
Managing revalidations and implement best practice assessment criteria
Facilitating pre entry testing processes for our front line staff, including clinical assessments
Developing individual learning plans (ILPs) for remedial programmes

As well as emergency paramedic care, we provide patient transfer services; have paramedics who are part of the Life Flight crew and rescue squad, and operate the 111 clinical communications centre for our region. **Skills and Experiences**:
Our successful applicant will be willing to go above-and-beyond with the service they provide, so that we can continue to provide world-class emergency services. They will have:
Proven experience in education or training delivery
Passion for delivering quality education to develop staff capability and clinical excellence
Computer skills (MS Suite to intermediate level, power point to advanced level)
Exceptional communication skills, able to deliver to a diverse range of audiences
Registered Clinician or health professional (or equivalent skills/knowledge)
Undergraduate/Post graduate qualifications in education or currently working towards
Recognised preceptor OR mentoring training programme
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing needs - with some weekend and evening courses needing to be delivered
Be able to work independently or as a team member with a collaborative manner and being receptive to others’ ideas, knowledge and skills.

COVID-19 WFA’s COVID-19 risk assessment has determined that we require all staff to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 prior to commencing work with WFA. It remains a condition of your ongoing employment to maintain your vaccination status, which may include booster or additional vaccinations as required.
