**Salary**: As per MERAS or NZNO MECA on Community Midwife Scale Step 2 ' 8, depending on experience
Kōrero mō te tūranga ' About the role
We are seeking a full or part time, confident & experienced midwife to join the Community Midwifery Team providing antenatal, and postnatal care and working across a variety settings, including in the community, clinics, Birthing Suite and Ward 4 North.
The team works a roster in variety of settings, and covers on-call overnight cover for postnatal telephone calls.
The Community Midwifery Team provides antenatal and postnatal midwifery care in any setting, including the home and hospital:

- For primary women who cannot find community based LMCs
- For secondary women requiring hospital midwifery services
- For women under tertiary care who have transferred from another DHB and are less than 6 weeks postnatal and have a baby in NICU Mō tō mātou rōpū ' About our team

Our supportive team delivers midwifery care across a variety of settings, and works closely together and experiences a variety of challenges and rewards. We aim to provide continuity within our caseload and encourage any areas of particular interest for our team members to pursue.
Moū ' About you
- Registration with the Midwifery Council of NZ as a Registered Midwife
- Current practising certificate with no restrictions on practice
- Broad experience in Maternity care working across the scope of practice
- Previous community midwifery experience preferred but not essential
- On confident level of QLP or working towards it
- Sound computer skills
