**What you’ll do**:

- Provide all facilities and equipment required for the company’s operations and ensure those items are provided “ready for use”. The facilities and equipment should enable production to be carried out in an efficient, cost effective and quality-based manner.
- Maintain site presentation and general facilities in a “ready to audit” state.
- To consistently produce high-quality, cost-effective serum in accordance with SOPs/WIDs, and cGMP requirements whilst maintaining traceability for all products.
- Comply with EHS (Health & Safety) regulations and policies.
- Participate in weekly communication meetings, annual site action workouts in terms of lean & EHS.
- Maintaining hygiene and dress standards as per SOPs/WIDs.
- Must maintain the facility at a defined cleanliness.
- Ensuring full traceability for all products is maintained at all times.
- Perform day to day work tasks as instructed by the Manager.
- Work with outside contractors in support of Facilities Department (projects, repair, and maintenance).
- Maintain and organize facility designs/drawings, contracts, and related commercial documents.
- Participate and support in vital safety initiatives and programs.
- Participate in the EHS committee meetings (to support site safety initiatives and compliance).
- Other duties as assigned, and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams, weed control, grounds work, cleaning of buildings etc.
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
- Training: Aware of and comply with training requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of production process, work instructions, documentation configuration control, non-conforming & rework documentation requirements and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specification.
- Aware of and comply with Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Material Identification & Segregation, and Good Documentation Practices, as associated with this job type/position.
- Any other tasks that may be reasonably requested.

**Who you are**:

- Technical degree or equivalent and 5 years’ experience, preferably maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- Preventative Maintenance (PM) process, maintenance work and fault finding - electrical, pneumatic and PLC an advantage
- Experienced working on own initiative
- Computer literate - Excel intermediate or above
- Customer satisfaction oriented
- Experience in the controlling and maintaining of a maintenance program
- Quality assurance, cGMP, ISO regulations
