We are looking for an all-rounder to join our building and Maintenance division

We are offering a full-time permanent position

We support clients – large and small to manage their facilities and maintain their properties. Our property maintenance services are in high demand, especially for small building/handyman jobs. You're the right person if you have existing knowledge of a broad range of property services including but not limited to:

  • Small-scale building work
  • Small-scale bathroom renovation work
  • Installing hardware and small carpentry jobs
  • Installation of kit set kitchens and cabinets
  • Timber fence construction & repairs
  • Timber decks construction & refurbishments
  • Medium-scale GIB board fixing
  • General labour work
  • General handyman services
  • Minor paint/plaster repairs
  • Liquid membrane waterproofing applications

We are looking for people to grow into running their own teams/leading hands & running their own jobs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality carpentry and maintenance work on time and to standard
  • Accurately complete H&S documentation via Site App Pro
  • Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment to company standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and subcontractors
  • Assist the project team with scheduling and small job coordination
  • Follow all site safety and quality assurance procedures

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' trade or property maintenance experience
  • Carpentry or building background preferred (trade-qualified advantageous)
  • Strong practical skills across multiple trades
  • Self-motivated with initiative and problem-solving ability
  • Physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Site Safe, Working at Heights, and First Aid certificates (or willingness to obtain)
  • Class 1 driver's licence

Health and Safety are of the utmost importance to you and our clients. You will need to fill in H&S paperwork for each site and be tech-savvy with SiteApp Pro and Timesheets Mobile App.

We service a wide range of clients including property managers, asset managers, residential clients, commercial properties, retirement villages and shopping centres. You will service sites across Tauranga Central, Maketu, Te Puke, Katikati, Omokoroa & Waihi Beach.

You will need to be physically fit and agile, able to carry out interior & outdoor work in all weather conditions that are safe for you and your team.

This role is for Monday - Friday and may include some early mornings and evenings or weekend work in the busy period. A current full driver's license is needed.

You will be responsible for looking after your own VAN, gear & equipment with weekly checklists that must be kept up to date.
