**About the Role**

We have multiple permanent and fixed term positions available (please indicate in your cover letter what you are seeking). This will be based in our general x-ray team who work between Christchurch and Burwood Hospitals, covering all aspects of our busy 24/7 x-ray service including ED, outpatients, fluoroscopy, NICU and theatre imaging. All roles will include day, evening, night and weekend shifts.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Delivering quality patient-centred radiographic services which are efficient and effective for the needs of the patients and the service
- Effective documentation of procedures (where appropriate)
- The support and facilitation of quality indicators/programmes
- Supervision and clinical training or Medical Imaging Students, where appropriate

**About You**
- Solid experience of general imaging, preferably in a larger centre but this is not essential
- A genuine passion for radiography. You will demonstrate this when teaching the Ara students who we host for clinical placements
- A strong work ethic and a dedication to teamwork
- A strong commitment to both patient care and producing high quality imaging across ED, inpatients, outpatients, fluoroscopy and theatre
- Experience of dealing with patients from a diverse range of backgrounds
- Registration with the MRTB and a valid practicing certificate

You will be required to participate in a 24/7 rostered service including on call.
