**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

Are you ready to start the new year in a new role? Join our dynamic Community Engagement team as an Event and Activations Support Coordinator Help shape the future state of our community engagement strategy, ensuring we provide world-class customer experiences that support sustainable growth and meet community needs.

Your responsibilities will also include:

- Coaching, supporting, and motivating participants in executing community engagement programs.
- Identifying and monitoring potential risks or opportunities in the business environment that may affect strategic objectives.
- Coordinating and setting up events, including pre-event planning, on-site setup, and post-event reviews.
- Handling administrative tasks such as creating traffic management plans, site safety requests, and coordinating with partners and stakeholders.
- Managing the usage and administration of community event vans and BBQ trailers.
- Ensuring flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings, to support event schedules.
- Traveling to various event locations as required, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively.
- The role includes travel around NZ, primarily in the North Island.

This is a permanent full-time position, available only at our IAG office based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).

**Ōu Pūkenga | About You**

To be successful in this role you’ll ideally have the following skills:

- Highly organised and able to prioritise multiple workstreams to meet deadlines.
- Experience managing and reconciling large budgets.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Adaptive and hands-on working style.
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- 4+ years of experience in cross-functional environments delivering high stakeholder engagement.
- A valid driver's license is required, as the role involves driving and towing trailers.
