We’re on a mission to **fuel everyday to elite athletes to be ready for game day**. Leading the **NZ Sports portfolio** of **Musashi, Athena, and Balance**, you’ll be the force behind **Musashi’s market dominance** and the **trailblazing launch of Athena**—our newly launched brand empowering female athletes.

This isn’t just any **Senior Brand Manager** role. This is your chance to **shape the future of our brands** in one of **New Zealand’s fastest-growing categories**. We have the **growth momentum, marketing budgets, and a pipeline of big initiatives** to work with—now we just need someone to **take this portfolio to the next level**.

Reporting to the **Head of Marketing** and working within a **dynamic marketing team of nine**, this role offers exposure to the **full marketing mix**—from **crafting compelling content with our world-class ambassadors** to **spearheading new product launches** and **contributing to our 3-year brand strategies**. You’ll be **executing big initiatives, collaborating across teams, and making a real impact** on our brands.

**Key Responsibilities**
- ** Strategic Leadership**: Develop and implement marketing strategies, plans, and initiatives for the **NZ Sports Portfolio** to achieve and exceed **sales growth, profit targets, and market share goals**.
- ** Brand Management**: Oversee and drive performance for our top sports nutrition brands:
- ** Musashi** - Foster innovation, identify local trends, and execute world-class strategies to maintain and grow **Musashi’s market leadership**.
- ** Athena** - Lead the **Athena brand** in NZ. Just **10 months old**, you’ll be the go-to person for making this **newly launched brand a success**.
- ** Innovation & Renovation**: Identify **unmet product needs**, collaborate with the Australian team on **strategy and NPD**, and manage the sports product portfolio to ensure the **right product range is in market at all times**.
- ** Full Marketing Mix Execution**: Drive **brand campaigns, NPD launches, activations, media, social media, digital, and sponsorship strategies** to maximise engagement.
- ** Financial Management**: Develop and manage the **annual marketing budget** for the Sports portfolio, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to **deliver on revenue and profit targets**.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with **Sales, Operations, Finance, Logistics, and external agencies** to **activate marketing plans** and **drive commercial success**.
- ** People Leadership**: Manage and mentor **two direct reports**, fostering a **high-performance culture** that enables personal and professional growth.

**What You'll Bring**
- ** Experience**: A **brand champion** with at least **six years of brand marketing experience** within the **FMCG or consumer products industry**, plus **managerial experience**. You bring **proven success stories** of how you've led brands to **market success**.
- ** Education**: A **degree in marketing** or a related field.
- ** Skills**:
- Strong **project management** abilities with the capability to **handle multiple projects** with ease.
- A **keen eye for detail** and a **commercial mindset** with strong **financial acumen**.
- ** Confident in presenting** and influencing both **internally and externally**.
- As comfortable **discussing strategy** as you are in **executing major brand initiatives**.
- ** Personality**:Energetic, enthusiastic, and proactive**—a natural **collaborator and culture contributor** who thrives on teamwork.
- ** Passion**: A **love for sports and/or nutrition** is a big plus. You’ll have the opportunity to **engage with some of New Zealand’s top athletes and teams**.
