Join an energetic and friendly team in a position at the forefront at what is happening in Fire and Emergency Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role Reporting to the National Manager Board and Ministerial Services, the Senior Advisor Board and Ministerial is responsible for a wide range of duties within the team. This includes building and maintaining excellent relationships with the board and executive leadership team, providing expert advice to the select committee, weekly and monthly reporting, and drafting ministerial speech notes. Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you'll bring to the role: In this fast paced and dynamic environment, you will bring your flexibility to and the ability to manage competing priorities. This position requires strong relationship management, along with your ability to act professionally and confidentially while working with the board and the minister. You will have excellent writing ability.To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:

- Experience working with Boards and providing secretariat services at a senior level
- Strong knowledge and understanding of machinery of government
- A background working in policy, commerce, or communications
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in leading organisational governance
- Excellent writing and communication skills

The salary range for this role is $112,415 - $ 124,906 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.Ko wai mātou - who are we?
