A role with the Ministerial and Board team allows you to build relationships with all parts of NZTE and wider NZ Inc. agencies.

**What you'll be doing - Te whakamahere**

This is a vital role for NZTE as you work closely with the Board Governance Manger to successfully deliver a highly effective Board Governance Programme that ensures that the NZTE Board and Committees are dealing with the right issues, at the right time with the right information.

As a trusted advisor, you will support individuals and teams authoring papers and presenting at Programme meetings. You will also be responsible for:

- Coordinating logistics and information for Board and Committee meetings, using high quality best practice tools, templates, and guides.
- Supporting the wider Board and Ministerial team by providing high quality, efficient and accurate information to our stakeholders.
- Maintaining our Board Governance Programme records, registers and databases.

**What you'll need to be successful - Ō Pūkenga**

This role provides a unique insight into NZTE and how we work, both as an organisation and with our external partners. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has excellent attention to detail, has strong written and communication skills, is effective at building stakeholder relationships across the organisation and externally and has a can-do attitude. This role will see you working alongside senior leaders and board members and making connections across the organisation to ensure open communication and knowledge sharing.

Ideally you will be an excellent communicator, be highly organised, have strong time management skills and be someone who can be relied upon to provide relevant, timely and trusted information. Previous experience in a both writing/editing capacity and project coordination would be an advantage in this role.
