**About this role**
Are you passionate about creating tangible differences and driving excellence in HSEQ? As a HSEQ Business Partner you will provide expert HSEQ advice to enable to the safe and successful delivery of projects and a positive risk and learning culture within Arup’s New Zealand organisation. You will also use your influence and transformational skills to be an agent of change as you support the implementation of a new era in how Arup Australasia thinks about HSEQ risks. With access to regional and global communities of HSEQ professionals, you will collaborate with and ensure that HSEQ remains top of mind throughout our business as we shape a better world, safely.

**What will I do?**
- Provide hands on advice and support to successful set up and mobilise projects and deliver the HSEQ project execution requirements throughout the life of the project
- Assist with the implementation of Health and Safety, Environment and Quality, Resilience and Sustainability plans, processes, programs and tools within the Victorian and South Australian Geographies
- Support preventive action management processes and corrective actions, including co-ordinating local campaigns, and delivering training on HSEQ programs, systems and associated business processes as required.
- Support investigations associated with project and office related events to focus on learning outcomes for the organisation.

**What will I bring?**
- Recognised relevant tertiary or diploma level qualification in HSE, Quality, Risk Management, or similar area
- ISO 45001, 9001 and/or 14001 lead auditor qualification (or working towards)
- 5-8 years of industry experience in Construction, Mining, Oil and Gas, Built Environment and/or Infrastructure development within a consulting business environment
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership
- Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
