**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
**As our new Regional Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for managing facilities, services & maintenance of operational retail assets, buildings and equipment for Countdown supermarkets retail business.

We are looking for someone with skills to facilitate, manage and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance across stores within New Zealand operations. In addition, some of your key responsibilities will be:

- Providing on-site support for all maintenance & service operations for the Engineering Maintenance & Services (EMS) group and local customers (store, group and zone managers)
- Providing detailed facility, plant and equipment auditing of sites including reporting on building and asset standards
- Monitor, evaluate and report on the performance of contractors and service providers, including relationship management and stakeholder engagement
- Identify cost saving maintenance initiatives within the business.

**About You | Mōu
**To be successful in your new role you will have the following skills and attributes:

- Managing contractors in a facilities management role within a large multi-site organisation
- Track record in provision of maintenance services in a customer oriented environment
- Experience in multi-site operations
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, including consultation, negotiation and high level representational skills.
- A good understanding of trades and the building industry will be essential in this role.

You will have a passion for retail and sound understanding of the FMCG operational environment and impact that maintenance operations have on that environment. You will have an understanding or building operational compliance requirements including health & Safety legislation and relevant NZ standards.
