**As we prepare to move to a single operator model for the Duty Free Operations at Auckland Airport, we are looking to bolster our support teams with like minded professionals with an interest in growing their career with a global leader, with a local heartbeat.**

Bring your expertise in Category Management and build on your experience with global luxury brands in a full time role with a global leader in Travel Retail. You will join a team working across New Zealand & Australia and be accountable for supporting the growth of the **Liquor** category through a range of diverse activities including category planning & ranging, pricing and promotions, management of supplier relationships and negotiation.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate extensive product knowledge, broad thinking, experience working with cross functional teams and a diverse set of skills required to drive category strategy.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Managing supplier relationships
- Taking part in supplier negotiations
- Creating engaging value propositions for customers, based on insights and data
- Monitoring customer engagement in stores
- Working with stores to drive category success
- Managing to budgets and forecasts
- Inventory & purchasing plans to maintain positive cash flow
- Internal reporting of Category performance
- Playing an active role in promoting the culture of the business

**In order to be successful in this role you will need**:

- 5+ years experience in retail category management
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Industry knowledge in Liquor will be highly advantageous.
- Proven experience managing successful supplier relationships
- Superior oral and written skills
- Strong analytical skills

You will enjoy juggling competing priorities, demonstrate a high level of initiative, have excellent time management and communication skills and confidence liaising with a varied audience.
