At Manatū Hauora - Ministry of Health we are the kaitiaki of the health system, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance. We regulate the health sector and are the primary source of advice on health matters. You will be part of the HRIS and Payroll team within the Corporate Services Directorate, who as a group delivers advice and oversees the assurance functions associated with the organisation as a government department.

Ko ake mahi - What you'll do
As the HRIS/Senior Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Ministry's payroll service. This includes providing resolutions to payroll related issues, maintaining the data integrity of our payroll system and continuously improving our processes. You will work closely with the wider People and Capability team to ensure a professional payroll service is delivered.

- The ability to prioritise and adapt easily, with great time management skills
- A keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy
- Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant NZ payroll legislation
- Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills
