An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Facilities Services Supervisor**, also known internally as a Campus Services Supervisor, to join our Exterior and Satellite Campus Team within the wider Facilities Management Team at the University's City campus.

As the Facilities Services Supervisor, you will manage the service delivery of facilities contractors onsite at our unique and diverse satellite campuses. Each campus has its own distinct environment and facilities, with Waiheke research facility focusing on providing innovative education for the benefit of the wider wine industry, Ardmore Research Station offering a unique rural research location, and Tai Tonga being more education-focused.

Your responsibilities will also include managing the ongoing performance of the exterior roofing and cladding portfolio of the University in collaboration with the Campus Services Manager. You will take a strategic approach to address ageing cladding and roofing, providing recommendations for upgrades or replacements to the property asset and project teams.

You’ll also be part of the emergency (critical) response management team across campuses. The role offers flexible working schedules to assist you in achieving the delivery outcomes at these distinctive research facilities.

Working closely with the Campus Services Manager and the Contract Services Supervisor, Leigh and Tai Tokerau, you will form a 3-person team to provide support and cover for the team as required. **Your responsibilities will include**:

- Working in partnership with the Campus Services Manager to deliver preventative maintenance schedules of all buildings and plant assets in your portfolio, and identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- With your team, manage the planned works and emergency works for campus wide cladding and roofing.
- Engage contractors and internal staff to perform maintenance across a variety of locations.
- Complete reports and essential H&S documentation as well as manage contracts and budgets.

**He kōrero mōu | About you**

You will be an experienced facilities management expert and have demonstrated experience with contract management gained in a tertiary, technical/trade environment or equivalent. Your excellent relationship management skills will enable you to liaise with faculty staff and students around maintenance activity, facilitate the maintenance of the facilities, whilst driving the quality and completion of work undertaken by the University’s contractors.

As a quick thinker, you’re able to understand the complexities of largescale facilities in varying conditions and advise on appropriate solutions. You will need to be self-motivated, innovative and forward thinking. You’ll be able to lead the reactive and proactive upkeep of facilities across minor and major projects.

**In this role, you will be involved in**:

- ** Planning -** Ensure planned, reactive & unplanned maintenance and major building programmes are coordinated with key stakeholders.
- ** Daily & Campus Operations - **Work orders are assigned, completed, and verified. Raised incidents are assessed and prioritised.
- ** High Standards - **Ensure contract KPIs are met, building specified systems are compliant; and services are delivered within agreed timeframes.
- ** Evaluate - **Monitor contractor performance with the Performance Assessment by Co-ordinated Evaluation (PACE) framework to ensure a high standard of maintenance and presentation of sites within the portfolio.
