The Ministry of Justice is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Digital Strategy and Performance Team. This is a new opportunity within a refreshed, digital focused operating model and has the ability to be further shaped for success.

**You will**:

- Be a proactive member of the Chief Digital Officer's wider leadership team.
- Lead the development of the Architecture practice, including mentorship and guidance to a team of highly skilled Portfolio Architects while the line management of Architects sit within service portfolio teams.
- Ensure enterprise architecture strategies, frameworks, standards, and practices advance strategic objectives.
- Inform the long-term investment planning and asset planning process.
- Keep current with global digital trends in ensuring appropriate and current digital capabilities are applied to the business.
- Provide technical oversight across the architecture practice to support the development of digital products and services.

He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience

**To be successful in the role you will have**:

- A Tertiary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Relevant industry or technical qualifications and / or certifications.

You will have Enterprise Architecture experience in large and complex organisations, including:

- Advising executive leaders and their teams for effective technology decision making.
- Providing ICT architecture leadership and advice that is pragmatic and future focused.
- Bringing critical thinking to complex information to enable strategic decision making.
- Leading the development of enterprise architecture collaboratively and consultatively, working as a strategic influencer across organisational business groups with varying unit goals but shared organisational goals.
- Able to build and maintain a range of effective business relationships within an organisation and a wide network of professional relationships across organisations.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The remuneration band for this role is $144,068 to $203,390 - the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
