**Your new role**

As the Enterprise Business Architect,** **you will collaborate with key directorates to co-design technology solution roadmaps across the organisation. Your strategic viewpoint will help in defining and developing long-range plans to align and enhance information technology capabilities, ensuring they meet business goals.

Your responsibilities include:
**Business Engagement**:

- Work closely with the Manager of Business Engagement to create an effective end-to-end business engagement process throughout the organisation.
- Engage in business discussions to support the development of optimal technology solutions.
- Cultivate strong relationships with business stakeholders, enhancing the established co-design process.
- Involve key Digital Services resources in solution development for seamless transitions.

**Enterprise Architecture**:

- Assist the Manager of Business Engagement in developing enterprise architecture frameworks and standards.
- Proactively co-design optimal business solutions alongside other Digital Services experts.
- Lead channels, forums, and review processes to drive co-design efforts.
- Contribute to documenting and reviewing enterprise architecture artefacts and solution designs.

**IT Roadmaps**:

- Collaborate with the Manager of Business Engagement to support the delivery of the **Digital Strategy** and drive the development of purpose-fit IT roadmaps across the organisation.
- Define, create, and maintain the current state and future state **enterprise architecture** and technology standards.
- Communicate the strategic future state enterprise architecture to senior leaders and conduct regular engagement meetings with business stakeholders to refine IT roadmaps.
- As a member of architecture governance forums, assess solutions for compliance with the enterprise architecture framework and IT roadmaps.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous Experience in a Business or Technical Architecture Role in a Complex Business Environment:

- Familiarity with at least one Enterprise Architecture framework (e.g., TOGAF) and one architecture modelling notation (e.g., ArchiMate). Formal qualifications are preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in providing thought leadership and delivering technology architecture outcomes.
- Proven track record in high business engagement roles, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and drive results.
- Skilful in effectively engaging with the business to co-design business solutions.
- Proficient in developing IT roadmaps tailored to various business customers.
- Strong relationship management skills, projecting credibility and influence when dealing with diverse stakeholders.
