**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**

Northcote Library is a great place on the North Shore of Auckland serving a diverse community. We are a focused and committed team who takes pride in creating a wonderful customer experience. In this role, you will be contributing to the day to day running of the library, supporting, and delivery of programmes for tamariki, rangatahi and whānau programmes.

This is a permanent 38-hour position, based at Northcote Library and the flexibility is required to work across the Kaipātiki Local Board Libraries.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
Your natural ability to relate well with people of all ages and backgrounds, excellent communication skills, and resilience will ensure that you are able to successfully engage with our community. You are someone who prides yourself on providing an excellent level of customer service, you are keen to learn new skills and new ways to engage with our diverse and vibrant community. Your strong digital skills is an important part of this role and you will be expected to comfortably impart that knowledge to our customers.
