In this role, you will be the 'go to' person for your group, building in-depth knowledge of your team's activities, and y representing the group across the organisation. Supporting the DCE International and Governance, this role adds value to Customs by strategically managing assigned portfolios, freeing up the DCE's and International and Governance leadership teams' time so they can focus on high-level, value-add work. As the 'go to' person for the International and Governance Group you will develop an in-depth knowledge of the work area, providing a high quality, effective and efficient Executive Assistant support. The indicative salary range for this role is between $70,000 to $85,000 per annum (dependent on relevant skills and experience). The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance to a "Secret" level is required for this position. **Working for New Zealand Customs** To join Customs in any role you must be a **New Zealand citizen** or **New Zealand permanent resident** and be able to obtain and maintain an Organisational Security clearance along with being able to obtain and maintain security clearance to **'secret'** level. **OR** Because of the nature of Customs' work you must have a clear Police record. Organisational security clearances are mandatory and are conducted by Customs. You will also be required to pass a drug test.
