Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne. We serve a population of approximately 259,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.
He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty have a full-time position available working within the Community Dental Service. Within this team you will be working as Administration Support and work across a Monday to Friday basis 8:00am to 4:30pm. The location of work will be in a fixed site clinic.
This role has a specific focus to enhance and encourage participation of our tamariki and their whānau in accessing oral health care. Other tasks within this role will be to manage reception, meet and greeting patients and to support clinic administration.

- Be working with service specific electronic patient record systems to scheduling appointments
- Undertake patient group reconciliation
- Data entry as required
