Te Whatu Ora Lakes is a growing and changing environment and is providing the opportunity for a full time experienced administrator to join the Surgical and Planned Care Service team.
The current team creates an environment which is positive and rewarding within a mix of administration and clinical staff.
This position is responsible for providing relief cover for staff leave, and on a day to day basis you will be required to work in various areas to assist with the delivery of patient focused services that support the co-ordination of the patient's pathway to surgery. Work areas include the preoperative assessment clinic, inpatient booking office and theatre reception.
**Essential qualities for the position include**:
- have an ability to work flexibly and adapt to different work settings
- are able to process information quickly
- are motivated and have an ability to problem solve
- have exceptional time management and prioritisation skills
- have strong verbal and written skills
- have excellent customer service skills
- can relate to a wide range of people
- have an ability to work autonomously but enjoy working in a team environment
- have a minimum of two years' administration experience at an intermediate to senior level with previous experience in a health setting preferred
To be eligible to work at Te Whatu Ora Lakes you must be fully vaccinated.
**Salary range**: $67,932 - $70,951
