- Our Auckland Contracting team is on the hunt for a qualified Cable Jointers to join them and work with lines up to 33kV.**The role**
Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be working within a small team and primarily responsible for the troubleshooting and finding solutions to keep the lines up and running. You will also:
- Install, replace and repair underground distribution assets
- Jointing and termination of distribution assets up to and including 33kV
- Excavate and reinstate underground cable installation sites
- Carry out routine inspections, fault finding and repair overhead installations, underground cables and testing of instruments

**About you**
To be considered for this role you’ll need to have:
- Experience to carry out HV and LV cable jointing and terminating
- Valid NZ Drivers Licence
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a cable jointer
- Sound technical knowledge of cables and local network systems, procedures and standards
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- A team player and ‘can do’ attitude with strong interpersonal skills working in a multi-cultural environment
