As a Team Leader Cable Jointer, you’ll be at the forefront of our operations, directing a team to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

You’ll play a hands-on role in planning, scoping, and problem-solving, while providing technical expertise and leadership support. Your efforts will directly impact the safety, performance, and success of your team and the communities we serve.
- Lead and supervise a team to deliver safe, high-quality work.
- Scope and plan jobs effectively, allocating people, plant, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality, Environment) requirements.
- Provide guidance on technical drawings and project specifications.
- Foster strong communication and team engagement.
- Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
- Maintain Northpower property, equipment, and resources.

**About you**:
You’re a proven leader with a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to keep your team safe, motivated, and productive. You thrive in challenging environments, are proactive about safety, and excel at planning and organising work.
- EWRB registration with current practising licences.
- 2 years relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
