**The role**
Reporting to the Field Manager or Team Leader, you will be working within a team on the distribution network. You will be responsible for:
- Fault finding, testing, and commissioning of equipment
- Jointing and termination of distribution assets up to and including 33kV
- Installing, replacing and repairing underground assets
- Assisting civil workers either excavating or reinstating underground assets if required.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you’ll need to have:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working as a qualified cable jointer
- Experience to carry out HV and LV cable jointing
- Valid NZ Drivers Licence
- Sound technical knowledge of cables and local network systems, procedures and standards
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- A team player and ‘can do’ attitude with strong interpersonal skills working in a multi-cultural environment
