We are currently on the lookout for a Bridge Engineer to join the Transport team in Auckland, working on a range of projects involving brides and civil structures.

What will you do?

In this position you will join our Transport unit and will work on exciting projects relating to bridge design and engineering at its best.

- Responsible for all bridge design aspects within the Transport Infrastructure environment - from conceptual to final design
- Project manage large infrastructure projects from the planning phase to project closeout, perform and oversee drafting daily by ensuring that required drawing standards are maintained and implementation of relevant codes of practice
- Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final tender documentation, and ensuring that all work complies with Aurecon’s quality control procedures, as well as supporting construction supervision, including site visits
- Conduct conceptual and detailed structural designs in structural steel, pre-stressed and reinforced concrete
- Bridge inspections

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need a relevant Civil Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience as a Bridge Engineer within a Consulting Engineering firm.
