- Analyse market trends affecting business growth with new and developed client cases

- Determine the sales objectives, targets, and initiatives for major customers in the marketplace and set targets
- Research and determine new accounts and business opportunities
- Establish likelihood of success, potential revenue, and new potential business gains
- Assist in the resolution and troubleshoot outstanding accounts
- Manage the Sales Team to ensure accurate rate quoting/filing and customer requirements through trade desk, and handling sales enquiries and information
- Deliver a positive customer service experience at every opportunity
- Promote ZIM services, brand and e-Commerce products

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a related field
- Previous leadership and performance management experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in the shipping industry with a focus on sales/customer service
- Demonstrated knowledge of shipping export documentation
- Strong customer focus
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English - both written and spoken
- Ability to work towards a deadline
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High level of computer literacy and presentation skills
- A desire to foster and work within a team committed to service
