Stamford Plaza Auckland is currently working with the Ministry of Health utilizing the hotel as a managed isolation facility. This is a temporary arrangement.

**About the role**

You are an emerging hospitality leader with a dynamic, energetic & entrepreneurial approach to all that you do. This is a diverse & integral role with a broad scope of responsibilities, which will see you providing administrative assistance to the senior leadership team and assisting with check-ins the next. It truly is an all-rounder role. You are comfortable with wearing multiple hats and are competent & comfortable working both autonomously and within a team. You are committed to providing the highest standards of customer service. You thrive on taking full responsibility and ownership of tasks. You are friendly, bubbly, outgoing and have a polite personality with a positive, 'can do' attitude.

**What you will be doing**:

- Provide administrational support to the Executive Office, Sales, Rooms Division, Food & Beverage and Engineering departments.
- Be fully versed in Front Office, Food & Beverage and Reservation operations and provide daily support
- Review, monitor and reply to all Guest feedback channels
- Champion Hygiene and COVID Safe policies
- Prepare daily reporting and incident management for all departments
- Providing planned and ad hoc administrative assistance to all teams as required

**Skills and Experience**
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in hotel operational setting with direct exposure to Front Office/Reservations/ Food & beverage or Administration.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- The ability to use your own initiative and be willing to lead the charge with the Hotel GM/EAM/Hotel Manager and other department heads.
- A very high level of attention to detail while working under pressure in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- A very high level of flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond for all our guests and your team
- Intermediate to Advanced experience with Word & Excel packages
- Strong administrative skills.
