**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work as a Library & Council Service Assistant based at the Albany Village Library, requiring the flexibility to work across Auckland’s Upper Harbour & Hibiscus and Bays South Local Board libraries when required. This is a permanent 16 hour part-time position, over 3 days that includes Saturdays.

The Library & Council Service Assistant is a customer focused role, where you will be contributing to the day to day running of our front-line library. You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues and customers to enable a great experience; we want to be known for our outstanding customer service. You will be working closely with our local community through a range of programmes and services, from children's activities to adult programmes.

Your natural ability to relate well with people of all ages and backgrounds, excellent communication skills, and strong digital skills will ensure that you are able to successfully engage with our customers. You are someone who prides yourself on providing an excellent level of customer service, keen to learn new skills and engage with our diverse and vibrant community.
