**About the Role**

As an Admin Assistant, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to provide effective support and contribute to the day-to-day operations of the service. The role includes meeting coordination, communications and reporting, recordkeeping, and requires a high level of flexibility and collaboration as you work with the Operations Manager to determine what administration assistance they require on a daily basis.

**About us**

The General Surgery Service at Te Whatu Ora - Waitematā consists of a team of Surgeons, Nurses, & Clerical staff based at North Shore Hospital who continually strive for excellence. Collectively, they provide services at North Shore & Waitākere Hospitals, Tōtara Haumaru, and the Elective Surgery Centre.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you’ll be a highly motivated and adaptable administrator, with excellent time management skills and a professional manner. You’ll be well presented, have a positive attitude with effective communication skills, as well as being proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience working as an administrator in a fast-paced health care environment would be highly advantageous.
