The Surgical Pathology Unit based at North Shore Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised and self motivated person to join the Administration team on a part time basis.

The role is an integral part of the Unit providing admin support to eleven anatomical pathologists who report on approximately 52,000 specimens from 27,000 patients per year from a wide range of specialties

To be successful in the role you will have:

- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in Dictaphone typing
- Familiarity with Delphic AP
- Exposure to medical terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Display high level of accuracy in numeracy and literacy
- Flexibility to suit service demands
- Ability to troubleshoot IS issues
- Ability to work collaboratively with broad range of staff
- Well-developed time management

This is a part time role, four hours a day Monday to Friday (2pm-6pm). However, additional hours will be required periodically to cover sickness and annual leave.
