Reporting directly to the Chief Support Services Officer, you’ll guide a dynamic, high-performing analytics team and collaborate with colleagues committed to positive change. In this pivotal leadership position, you’ll be at the forefront of our data strategy, transforming data into actionable insights that drive better health outcomes for all.
With a strong focus on ethical data use, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement, you’ll shape the future of care pathways and organisational performance

**Qualifications**:
**Mōu ake | About you**
**Ōu wheako ōu mātauranga hoki -** Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Bachelor of Computer Science, or relevant tertiary education
- 5+ years’ experience in a data leadership role
- Experience with statistical process analysis database tools (SQL), data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric an advantage
- An aptitude for process analysis
- An aptitude for maths, numbers, and ability to communicate data in common language

- A commitment and ability to recognise opportunities and support initiatives to increase equity for Māori tāngata whai ora
- A commitment to the diverse cultures of our service users and the needs of priority populations in Aotearoa
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge that includes advanced proficiency in Excel and Word, and use of reporting toolsets, databases and/or statistical analysis tools
