The Collective is a kiwi food brand that was established in 2009 by 2 entrepreneurial chefs who were driven to create ridiculously tasty yoghurt. Fast-forward 15 years and they’re now a constant fixture in many Kiwi fridges.

**What will you be doing?**

Here is an incredibly exciting role for someone who already has development experience under their belt and is ready to make their mark in an entrepreneurial environment and be part of growing The Collective and Moogurt brands.

This will be a busy role, with responsibility for developing products from inception to launch: new ranges, range renovations, product improvements and packaging.

Your role will involve:

- Leading the development of new products from conception to launch, including scoping, validating and executing the launch.
- Being the project lead, managing a cross functional team to ensure stages and gates are completed.
- Make the case for new concepts to enter the pipeline, bringing them to life using creative methods.
- Assisting Quality, Innovation, Operations, Sales and Customer Care Teams as required.
- Coordinating with Quality to ensure new and existing products and processes are implemented and adhere to RMP, Allergen Management Plan and HACCP.

**What are we looking for?**

You have a well-rounded toolbox of skills and experience.

The essentials are:

- **Education**: Tertiary qualification in Food Technology or similar
- **Experience**: You’ll have a minimum of 5 years food technology experience, ideally in consumer dairy / yoghurt, although those from other sectors will also be considered. Experience with short shelf life product would be a distinct advantage.
- **Practical & Hands on**: This is not a desk job. You’re happy getting your hands dirty, relish getting stuck in in the kitchen developing recipes, and love the time spent in the factory leading trials or improvement initiatives.
