Seeking PD Technologist for dynamic FMCG team
- Stay abreast of industry trends to bring on point products to market
- Based in South Auckland or Morrinsville (flexibility and WFH (2 days) options)

Are you passionate about creating new and delicious food products? Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Join this knowledgeable team as a Product Development Technologist and play a vital role in managing product development projects from concept to commercialization.

We are looking for a talented individual who can fine-tune and enhance the existing product range of a market leading poultry business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Initiate and develop concepts and innovation ideas to support the company's growth.
- Collaborate with key customers, Sales, and Production teams to facilitate new product costings and sample development.
- Identify areas of improvement in product and production processes and engage with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain Product Development databases, including ingredients and allergens.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Previous experience bringing new food products to market or a passion to develop in this area.
- A Food Technology or Food Science tertiary qualification (or similar).
- A creative mindset and willingness to bring new ideas to the table
- Good understanding of FSANZ and other food regulatory requirements.

- 2 jobs available - 1 is a permanent position, the 2nd is a 12 month mat cover.
- Flexible working hours and work from home 2 days per week once trained.
