We're looking for passionate and skilled people to join our Data & Economics team to help us understand what works, for whom, and why. We have multiple opportunities available at different levels - whether you're an emerging analyst, an experienced evaluator, or an expert ready to lead a new approach across the social sector.

**Analyst**
- Support quantitative evaluation design and statistical analysis.
- Contribute to monitoring frameworks.
- Build foundational skills using the Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI).
- Collaborate with policy and commissioning teams.

**Senior Analyst**
- Lead quantitative evaluation design and deliver complex statistical analysis.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to embed evaluative thinking.
- Provide mentorship and build capability within the team.
- Support culturally appropriate measurement frameworks.

**Principal Analyst**
- Lead high-impact IDI-based evaluations using advanced statistical methods.
- Influence commissioning, contract design, and policy development.
- Build strategic partnerships and integrate with other forms of evidence.
- Mentor others and guide internal learning culture.

**He korero mou | About you**

**Across all levels, we value**:

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills (e.g. economics, statistics, psychology).
- Ability to communicate insights clearly and meaningfully.
- A commitment to working in partnership with Maori and an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Curiosity, courage, and collaboration.
- Experience using large datasets (experience with the Integrated Data Infrastructure is an advantage).

**For senior and principal roles, we're also looking for**:

- Expertise in causal inference methods and evaluation design.
- Experience mentoring others and influencing across systems.
- Familiarity with outcomes measurement, social service providers, or public sector commissioning.

**Utu a-tau | Salary (Starting salaries are negotiated based on relevant skills and experience, with offers generally made between the minimum and midpoint)**

- **Senior Analyst** - Band 17: $106,760 - $125,600 - $150,720
- **Principal Analyst** - Band 19: $148,878 - $175,150 - $210,180
