About the Role (your why)
The IT Service and Business Continuity Consultant is responsible for the delivery of managed ITSCM and/or BCM Services. This role ensures we deliver value to our customers and internal stakeholders through the delivery of high-quality ITSCM and/or BCM Services, with the goal of IT Service Continuity readiness aligned with the customers Business Continuity requirements.
What you’ll do
- Leading the Disaster Recovery work in assessing, advising, and communicating recovery environment requirements and plans.
- Ensuring Disaster Recovery plans align with relevant legislation, appropriate standards and business requirements.
- Maintaining monthly status reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, and Disaster Recovery documentation.
- Representing the ITSCM and/or BCM service on behalf of Datacom to customers.
- Delivering high quality ITSCM and/or BCM services ensuring compliance with Datacoms relevant policies, processes and procedures.
- Ensuring all stakeholders adhere to the relevant processes in line with customer requirements and good practices.
What you’ll bring
- Good understanding of broad business and technology matters.
- A strong knowledge of relevant legislation and good practice guidelines.
- Broad knowledge of information communication technology, operating systems, databases and networking.
- Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Ability to network and develop productive relationships with customers, stakeholders and suppliers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.
