We are looking for a Data Architect to join our team. Reporting to our Data Services Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the data management policies and create/maintain the delivery of Enterprise data model, modelling standards and business glossary. The position will also be responsible for providing end to end data solutions to implement a greenfield Data & Analytics platform.

In addition to the above it is expected to provide advice, direction and architecture guidance to existing accounts and for new opportunities. The Architect may participate in cross-division, multi-function teams around go to market initiatives and provide mentoring and guidance to peers and subordinates.

**Responsibilities**:

- Driving progressive roll-out of data governance, by socialising frameworks & concepts and facilitating maturity uplift.
- Collaborate with the business to understand the business process models and convert them into data model requirements to create Conceptual model.
- Participate in Vendors technology brief workshops and ensure that the data management within the systems are aligned with future state architecture
- Conduct workshops with business, and data SME’s to evaluate the data requirements across all systems, understand meaning of data & complex business requirements to create logical data model, business glossary and unified data dictionary.
- Deliver data models, data catalogues, data dictionary, mapping and analytics experience in the articulation, design and development of data and reporting solutions.
- Implementing a new physical data model for a greenfield Data & Analytics by delivering solution design for data flows, data transformations.
- Maintain and support the data catalogues and data quality.
- Work with data integration team and testing team and assist in delivering flawless data management solutions.
- Demonstrated data architecture experience in Airport, Airline and/or large enterprise technology implementation is preferred.
- Prior knowledge on IATA/CASA/Airport regulations & standards.
- Has strong experience in the data modelling lifecycle across conceptual, logical and physical data modelling.
- Experienced in producing solution artefacts capturing data model / flows, transformation processes, and pros/cons of solutions.
- Demonstrates excellent communication presentation skills, engaging clients at a business level
- Has a strong hands-on knowledge of public cloud platform such as AWS or Azure specially in data domain
- And most importantly has the right attitude to work with diverse set of people in different locations and time zones.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Statistics or equivalent.
- Airport, airline and/or large enterprise technology systems data architecture experience is preferred
- Experience working in a Greenfields environment is advantageous
- 7 or more years of experience in Data Modelling, Data Warehousing, Data Management and/or related areas
- Experience in using data model tool such as eRWIN.
- Strong cloud background in public cloud platform such as Azure and AWS Data Engineering skills/experience particularly in cloud environment such as Microsoft Azure Data factory, AWS Data Pipeline, AWS Glue
- Has been part of at-least 2-3 data modernisation program such as data lake, data warehouse de
