**Work you’ll do**:

- Design and implement complex analytics cloud solutions that meet customer needs
- Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of the cloud and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are delivering business value
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst our wider Cloud Solutions Architect community
- Author or otherwise contribute to customer-facing publications such as whitepapers
- Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates

Skills and experience | Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako

**Required**:

- In-depth hands-on work experience designing large-scale implementations of Analytics cloud solutions, preferably on Microsoft Azure
- In-depth knowledge of Azure technology stack including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, ADC, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Bricks, DevOps/DataOps, Azure Data Factory
- Design and implementation of end-to-end data pipelines in Azure
- Strong background and experience in Data Warehouses, Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly
- Strong architecture design and modelling, written and oral skills

**Preferred**:

- 10+ years of overall architecture experience, to include a minimum of 4 years of experience in Azure Analytics architecture
- 3+ years project experience migrating and deploying cloud based solutions (Azure or AWS)
- 3+ years architecting, implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services infrastructure and topologies
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS will be an advantage
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Snowflake will be an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Azure Certified Professional
- Understanding of Infrastructure as a Service, Infrastructure as Code and related concepts on public cloud
- Understanding of Agile, SCRUM and Continuous Delivery
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, coaching, analysis, problem solving and short term and long term planning
- Experienced, persuasive and effective presenter, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives and rapidly changing priorities
