**About The Role**:
We currently have an opportunity for an Accounts Officer, based in our Wellington office. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be assisting with accounts payable and payroll.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Entering invoices into our accounts system (Syteline)
- Sorting and matching large quantity of invoices to purchase orders
- Reconciling supplier ERP accounts to monthly supplier statements
- Preparing and processing wire transfers
- Preparing, processing Accounts Payable reports and Expense analysis
- Calculation of weekly hours worked per employee for all factory staff
- Entering the weekly hours worked into the payroll system
- Entering all approved leave allocations into the payroll system
- Calculating & submitting the weekly wage records for approval via the payroll system. Submitting payroll related returns to IRD
- Respond to payroll related enquires (internal or external
- Assist with external & internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies
- General administration duties required to assist the Finance Team

**About you**:

- 3-5 + years’ experience in a similar accounts role.
- Syteline knowledge would be an advantage
- Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and active listening skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite.
- GL Account reconciliation experience
